Maybe you should have the same standard for nutrition that you do for
medicine. If it works then fine. If it doesn't then don't say it's fine.

Please tell me how a type I diabetes lives without medicine and is cured by
nutrition. One is dependent on meds because there is no alternative. If you
don't believe in taking any medicine then more power to you. No one is
forcing you to take anything. I am not going to beg you to take your blood
pressure medicine. I don't care if you take it or not. I don't care if you
don't take your cholesterol lowering medication. IF you were so concerned
about your cholesterol in the first place you wouldn't have let it get so
high to begin with. It was you lousy diet, eating habits and genetics that
gave you that cholesterol. Most people don't starve themselves by
eliminating every food group they can think of in order to get their
cholesterol levels down.

Nutitionist know the cause of disease? Do you think you getting your
cholesterol down by such extremes is healthy for your body? Do sick people
go to "health food" stores when they are not healthy? They should be called
"sick food" stores.
People go to doctors because they have symptoms and not because they are
healthy. Of course they treat the symptoms.
The entire sections of health food stores are based on symptoms.
Food and food supplements are drugs. Is folate a food or drug?
Can eating certain food kill you? Food is a foreign substance just like a
drug. You can die of food allergy just like a drug allergy.

Please dude. Doctors wouldn't tell you to lose weight? Doctors don't tell
diabetetics to control weight? They don't tell you to exercise? They need to
tell you to eat healthy?
You need a doctor to tell you that? Tell me the truth here. Everybody
thought that hambergers and french fries are healthy and they need a doctor
to set them straight. They are overweight because the doctors didn't tell
them that. Is that what happened to you? You want to blame your doctor for
what you eat or don't eat?

And as a medicine it should be judged as such. Is it working and effective
or is it not working. If it is not working then meds are needed.

I don't have a problem with health food stores selling supplements
exploiting people when they can get the same nutritional foods from a common
super market. I don't have a problem with the market exploiting people and
making money off of health food concerns like selling low cholesterol
pop-corn or organic carrots for twice the cost.
Just because something is food doesn't mean it will do squat for your
condition. A balanced diet is needed and it's the personal responsibility of
that person.
I just don't know where you get off blaming your doctor for your high
cholesterol, high blood pressure, or anything else pertaining to your body.
If you are a fat slob who doesn't eat right, exercise and stressed out with
health problems then you need a doctor.
If you eat right and correct any health issues on your own then you don't
need the doctor. Most of us are in between.
As stated by Steve the longer you live on this earth the higher the chances
you will have chronic disease because of wear and tear.
Your GI track doesn't work the same way with nutrient absorption so there
are limitations of diet.
