"study subjects spontaneously reduced their caloric intake to a level
appropriate for their height, did not compensate by eating more protein or
fat, and lost weight."
Just so, eat less and lose weight. This is the conclusion of the handful
of studies done within the last year or so, especially those for a year,
all participants who lost weight in the low carb and other diets based on
other macro nutrient ratios comparisons lost weight because fewer calories
were consumed. This is additional confirmation of what was known before
the studies.
