You must not be noticing the huge half gallon jugs of soda that
anericans drink like water. Massive quantities of sugary water carbs.
The extra thick pizza crusts. the super sized meals with extra soda and
potato chips. The candy bars. The RTE cereals loaded with sugar. Mac
and Cheese. White bread by the pound. Mounds of pasta with low-fat
sauces.
Americans may eat a lot of proteins and fats but they consume huge
amounts of carbs on top of it all.
