The main reason to filter coffee is that it tastes better. Before we started
using filters to make coffee, the most popular way of making coffee was perking
it. When you perk coffee it gets too hot (boils) and the taste suffers.

I will never swallow tea leaves. When one of those things get in my mouth I go
crazy trying to get it out.
