Re: Squash?

Most squashes taste like crap unless they have a lot of spices, sugars
or other flavourings added.

As I eat squash quite regularly, I am interested in what there is about it
that prompted the comment. (My interest is in *winter squash, NOT the
'summer' squash which seems to me to hardly qualify for the name. My
favorite, by the way, is 'buttercup' squash.
