Hi. My friend is an alcoholic (he freely admits it) and he says that
if he doesn't drink, he gets sick. He says that if he goes too long
without a beer, he throws up violently.
Usually, people throw up if they do drink. Why does he get sick if he
doesn't drink? What changes in his digestive system cause this?
Thanks.
Because of the privation syndrom. That is a very serious situation
Damn right, he should be seeking help and should avoid cold turkey until he
does. It can kill.
