Re: "Re: Prevention of Infection"

Finnish research would suggest the lower rate of diabetes in
India is the result of two factors. The level of sunlight the skin
receives
due to it location. This would result in better 25 OH vitamin D3 serum
levels which helps to regulate the immune system and thus would help
prevent diabetes.
The Finns found the 2000 IU per day given to infants prevent 80
percent of type 1.
(That is not a misprint on my part. 2000 not 200 IU.) diabetes in
later life.
Improved vitamin D status also helps to prevent breast and prostate
cancers as well as type 2 diabetes.

It would be interesting to compare the rates of DM T1 among population
of nearby predominantly Muslim countries were the old religious frauds
make their
women cover themselves from head to toe.

Beef is a fine food as is fish and pork (well cooked).

Here is where we stand on the iron from meat causes all disease notion.
As it is stated as a black and white majic bullet one cause explanation
for disease, only one counter example need be presented to refute it
completely.

India went from one of the world's lowest rates of diabetes and related
metabolic disorders to the world's highest. There was no relevant
increase in meat consumption and thus iron from it in this area where
meat consumption is mostly or completely absent. There was no change in
having a low iron level.

If meat consumption and thus iron level were the cause of diabetes and
related diseases there should have been no change in india. There was,
which refutes in whole the notion.
