Creatine question.

I just bought a new creatine product called Anabolic Switch from MRI.
It came highly recommended by the sales clerk at GNC. HE did however
tell me that I should only use it for 4 weeks during the "ON" cycle,
after which my kidneys wont be able to process any more of it until I
go on a 2 week "OFF" cycle. The language there concerned me a little
bit since I am not knowledgable about creatine.
My question is, is creatine in general harmful to the kidneys (or
liver)?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
