God, let's hope so. But even if there is a favorable outcome it in no
way supports the iron is the cause of all disease notion because people
eat meat notion. As in other disorders diabetes is accompinied by
inflammation which the iron depletion approach might help.

But this is far from iron causes diabetes only that reducing a side
effect might help. I have in past given you at least one abstract
showing that the inflammation follows diabetes not preceed it. Diabetes
and inflammation cause tissue damage, stored iron is released from
tissue which can in turn cause more inflammation. After all is said and
done the people will still have diabetes because its cause relates to
glucose and fat metabolisim in those with the genetic disposition for
it. What we need is a large population study to see the relationship
between iron levels and rate of diabetes and amount of meat consumption
to test the notion. But wait, we have it:
