notwithstanding we evolved to eat whatever we got ourhands on. In some
few places this involved high ratios of fat in the diet, more common
were mixed source diets with few fat sources. Animal sources in the
wild have far less fat then modern sources and it was far less saturated
fat when available.

Refined carbs are killing us. Refined vegetable fats as well.
We were and are hunter gatherers. All healthy relatively modern day
hunter gatherer societies primarily subsisted on animals. It is part
of the historical record. And these societies all valued the fattier
animals.
