I am glad we have reached the consensus that a horrible death doesn't
follow the EFAD state. Perhaps small amounts of omega-6/AA would make
the body to function at its best. >

YES

I would really like to have the people advocating the Omega-3
supplementation to state how much of the stuff they are actually
taking personally and for how long.

I prefer to quote or offer my guiding principles or personal results, and
have NO desire to *advocate*teach*montificate (sp?)*or re-peat ad nausem*.
Unlike your mentor, you seem to show at least *some* consideration for the
actual content of other peoples posts and positions, so FWIW here goes:
This may be more than you ever wanted to know, but you did ask about my
possible Inuit ancestry. ;-)
Fish Oil: 2-4 capsules of Costco or Sams club. Duration about 10 years.
Cooking oils: limited to light olive oil; EV olive oil; canola oil; ratios
est ratios about 5:1:1 Duration: about eight years.
Vitamin D: 1000 to 4000 iu (depending on the season) Carlsons
Minerals: calcium and magnesium citrates. (soft water in our area)

Diet outline

the modern world, uses paleo/whole foods approach as non-rigid guide.

Miscellaneous
Preferred advisor on fats and oils?: Mary Enig. Phd.
Favorite "Mary Enig" Quotation:
"Unfortunately, Peat does not understand the use of EFA by the human body.
He is trained in hormone therapy and his training in fats and oils has been
limited to misinformation as far as the polyunsaturated fats and oils are
concerned." from:

Questions for Taka: 1 Will I be healthier on a minimal EFA diet 2 How will
I know? 3. Will Mead Oil help me regrow my hair?
4: Is my reply to your request statistically significant? (n=1, self
reported, no control, un-randomized :-)) 5 When should I make my "final"
arrangements?
Taka
Have fun (I usually charge for this much information!)
