There is no such thing as a drug or even a nutritional supplement
called Fortified.

The word, Fortified, is obviously part of a brand name. That was
designed to market a supplement.

No matter what a supplement uses for its brand name, it should only
consist of a few different chemicals: Calcium, Magnesium, and Vitamin
D. Next, it a matter of the form of the chemicals that both Calcium
and Magnesium come in. Some forms are more bioavailable than other
forms. I favor calcium / Magnesium / Zinc supplements that contain no
Vitamin D. That way you don't have to worry about the Vitamin D going
bad on you. So, I would favor taking a separate vitamin A and D
supplement.

There is also the question of the ratio of calcium to magnesium. I
favor a 1 to 1 ratio or equal amounts of both.

Also, some brands might advertise the source of the calcium used, such
as: Dolomite, Clam Shells, or Sea Corral. All of whcih are bad
sources of calcium. Dolomite is particularly bad as it is likely to
be contaminated with lead.

Then there is the question of how easily the bone supplement capsule
will dissolve in a glass of water. You want a capsule that either
contains powdered cal/mag or at least has the consistency of chalk.
