Since CHD is the number one killer, anything that reduces markers of
it will also reduce mortality.
though it depends on the dosage.
You've covered your back nicely there by not actually committing
yourself.
One could take small amounts of fish oil supplements, but that's
unlikely to do much one way or the other.
So why are you so desperate to avoid them if they are "unlikely to do
much"?
If one takes 8 or more grams of fish oil a day,
8 grams a day, that's about 8 capsules. You're surely not suggesting
this is common practice. This comes back to something I said to you
years ago: If someone is saying omega3/6 are essential for health
that's not the same as saying you should eat as much as you can. You
only seem to see extremes.
