Not the best choice in a group of people who likely suffer
from prediabetes. The veggies and fish are fine but
the fruit needs to very limited. A whole banana is quite
enough to excessively elevated blood sugar such persons
and increase the triglyercide level as well.
Avoiding grain also a great move. Even whole grains
should be consumed in only small amounts.
Nuts especially raw nuts are good foods and
have low GI. Coconuts and sesame seeds can
also be helpful additions to ones diet.
Honey mentioned the second posting while OK for
a healthy young person is a wildly wrong choice
for such persons.
