You don't need to exclude it from the diet, just keep it at trace
amounts and your body will replace it with the natural Mead acid
(unless you consume a lot of omega 3s, which would be a terrible
idea). It takes up to 2 years (give or take a little) to get it out
of your body's cells. During that time, don't only avoid dietary
PUFAs, but also eat antioxidant-rich foods, because as the AA is
removed, it can cause problems in the lipid peroxidation context.
