Re: Another lesson from "Eskimos."

Oh, Sorry! In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that for several years during WW2, I was fed daily spoonfuls of cod-liver oil and malt.

On the basis that the Montificator frequently quotes his qualifications, and family 'science', FWIW I offer the following anecdotal details:
Age: close to 73 (rumors of agonizing ghastly fish oil death have been greatly exaggerated), heart disease? no; hemorrhagic strokes? no; Alzheimer's? you be the judge; diabetes? no; arthritis? no; impotent? no!; athlete? no; HDL? 50+; 25 (OH) D? 50; resting pulse rate? 47-53; fathers age at death from 2nd MI? 76. Do I drink gallons of omega 6 PUFA? No. Will I give up fish oil in the foreseeable future? Hell no!;
Monty is indeed a legendary scientist. (in his own mind?). Will he ever change his mantra, or his scientific topic? He hasn't for ten+ years. What do you think?

*******************************************
I now bid you all a respectful farewell. The statistical "molecular" evidence is irrefutable that I will shortly experience a hemorrhagic stroke.
Hope to see you on the other side.
Ping me.

The point I've been making for years now is that when you look at the
evidence comprehensively (as I was trained to do in grad school),
there is only one reasonable explanation, and that is that Mead acid
should be in your cells, rather than omega 3s and/or omega 6. I have
experimented with this notion directly on myself since 2001, and have
seen no problems, only benefits, for my "essential fatty acid
deficient diet." That is how science is supposed to work, that is,
you test a hypothesis directly and determine if it is accurate. If it
is not, then it must be abandoned. Much of the biology-related
sciences today, however, seem to operate more like cults, or
religions, with authoritative leaders trying to make their followers
obey the dogma and never question it.
