Need opinions on diagnosis and symptoms.

Hello,

I am new to the group and would like to get the opinion of members. I
had a history of night time urination up to 5 times a night which
began 12 months ago. Approximately 4 months ago the GP prescribed
oxybutinin which had the paradoxical effect of causing daytime urinary
frequency. Referred to a Urologist and had urodynamic study and
cystoscopy and given a diagnosis of bladder neck obstruction from a
"tight" bladder neck secondary to prostatitis. Given cipro and
prazosin for 6 weeks with no improvement. Told the reason for the
urinary frequency and night time urination was due to not completely
emptying my bladder. After not responding to prazosin had a bladder
neck incision and am now 6 weeks post op. I have a sensation in my
penis making me want to urinate even though there maybe nothing to
void. This sensation is present the moment I do pass urine and stays
with me.

Would this urinary frequency sensation be due to the bladder neck
incision operation or would it be a symptom of prostatitis. I have not
had any prostatic cultures done and have not other symptoms of
prostatitis other that this frequency.
