Right now I been using prostaq and some other herbal medicine to see if
it will help my condition. I heard it has helped some people. I been
using it for about a month now and doesn't seem to help too much. The
symptoms are pretty much there. I am going to try using the herbal
medicine while avoiding soda, spicy foods, and alcohol. If this
doesn't help I will try another treatment source. I'm pretty much
going to do whatever it takes to cure my condition. I heard of a
prostatitis clinic in tucson that treats with multiple antibiotics and
prostate massages. I emailed a few people on the newsgroup that stated
they went and most of them said there condition was improved with the
treatment. Lots of them were not fully cured but almost all had big
improvements.

This is the first I have heard such results from Dr. Polacheck (Tuscon
Clinic). Are you sure the people you emailed are for real and not some paid
spammers working on his behalf?

I also heard of a treatment that is being tested in ucla
medical center about botox injections in the prostate to shrink the
prostate. I also heard some people had improvements with this
treatment.

Botox has produced good results for some people. But the treatment with
which I am familiar injects it in the pelvic muscles (the source of pain for
some CPPS patients) not the prostate.

Although I think the tucson clinic might suit me better
because I really believe my condition comes from bacterial infection,
since I don't have most of the pain related conditions lots of people

Do you have any positive diagnosis to make that claim? Have you had
positive cultures done on your urine or prostate fluid?

seem to have. The botox treatment might be better for people with
enlarged prostate.

Enlarged prostate (BPH) is something else altogether and I'm not aware of
botox being used as a treatment for that. Green light laser is a new
therapy for BPH and they promise excellant results. I'm not sure however
whether or not there is scientific evidence to support this claim.
