AOL Appeals Board

I'm went out of town this weekend, and when I returned, I attempt to log onto
AOL, and I got this message that I am before an AOL Appeals Board and need to
change my password and produce an answer to a familiar question, like
elementary school I attended or something like this. I am on AOL 9.0.

My girlfriend last week who has an older version of AOL had a similar thing
happen to her. She couldn't log on and was required to call a 1-800 (toll
free) number and speak to an AOL representative.

Is something going on at AOL, or is this a hoax?
