You can see what operating system and web server a site is running at
to see if it uses a Microsoft web server or not:

   http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph
   Netcraft What's That Site Running Results

For example, www.cnn.com is running Netscape on a mixture of Linux
and Solaris systems.
