GETTING THE DROP
We hear about the dropout,
Whom we would discipline,
But, really, is the dropout
As bad as the drop-in?
The drop-in is the sudden
And uninvited guest
Who presses on the doorbell
When you would try to rest.
Who gets the sudden notion
And then is on the way,
No matter if you're busy,
And any time of day.
You answer not the doorbell
Or try some other dodge
The drop-in knows your there, though --
Your car's in the garage

I know it's not funny because I hate it too when it happens and my hubby
also thinks I am rude but on top of not being a people person to begin with,
when they drop in unexpectedly and takes time out of my meticulously
scheduled day, I get stressed and harried.
