How good to hear that a company would terminate someone for this. This has
been one of my biggest gripes working as an employee while transcribing was
people who liked to pick the cream and leave the bottom of the barrel work for
someone else to clean up. Doing this is unethical whether or not you are an IC
or an employee. If your friend did this and someone called her on it to the
point of her losing her job, I hope she has learned that this is a major
no-no!!!
