I totally agree, if a member of AAMT is concerned enough about this or any
other issue, they have the right to ask questions and push for answers. In
this particular case, the question was raised by someone on a forum that I
don't know whether they are an AAMT member or not, and asked me to ask the
question, which I did, and I reported the answer I got. I personally am not
overly concerned with when grandfathering was stopped--it was stopped and
that's the important thing to me--therefore I'm not interested in pursuing it
further. But by no means would I discourage an AAMT member or a prospective
employer from pursuing this further if they are that concerned.
