Seems like they called it "back" something, but I cannot swear to it. The
trees were not pointed in the same direction that fell though. The roofs that
came off left the houses open to the elements. The winds were clocked at 70mph
for the most part. I do know this, I have gone a lifetime without meeting up
with a storm like this and I really don't want to meet up with another in this
lifetime. We are all safe, but it is amazing how we take cover when we "know"
that danger is out there. I had the island in the kitchen that I was by on the
floor though could have gone in the half bath, but felt safer with no glass
nearby. The lady next door (she lost a portion of her roof), took herself, her
2 dogs, cat, and 2 sons in the half bath and they stayed the whole lengthy
time.
My niece had a tree fall on her house in the hurricane and she came home on
Wednesday evening from Las Vegas with another one on her house.
