I've always been amazed to hear of doctors feeling this way, as it has never
been my experience. This includes when I tell them and show them they have used
the wrong word, or that something doesn't sound right, or even when they rx'd
something to the patient that contained something they had just said patient
was allergic to. Guess the difference is when you're usually right, they learn
to pay attention. As far as punctuation, spelling, and making them sound good
by fixing incoherent sentences, I've never had anyone complain. Therefore, I've
come to the conclusion that either an MT who says doctors get mad for them
fixing things are fixing stuff that isn't broken due to lack of understanding
(that would exclude one doctor we all know, of course!)
