Well, yes, it would be nice to be able to have references for something hard
but that doesn't test your knowledge. It tests your ability to look things up.
 There has to be a basic fund of knowledge to do this job.

Good, let us know how you do when you test. If not, I personally would hold
the smart comments about how someone with a 7th grade education could pass the
test. Unless you have seen every single question (er..taken the test...) you
have no idea how hard or easy it is and you are being a bit rude to those who
have taken it and passed (IMO) but even ruder to those who have taken it and
did not pass (again, IMO). If you took it and you thought it was easy, then
good for you. If you haven't taken it and haven't seen all of it, then you
really have no idea about the entire contents, do you?
