I have such a hard time staying awake through movies, whether in the theater
or at home, unless they are super good flicks. I tried to watch "Lost in
Translation" but caught only the first 30 minutes of it. Makes DBF kinda
angry, we get all ready, order pay-per-view, and 15-30 minutes later I'm out
like a light. Last one I tried was European Vacation, which was pretty
funny, but still couldn't keep me awake long enough for the main character
to get to Europe. I walked out on Boomerang (stupid Eddie Murphy flop) and
Fatal Attraction.

One of my all-time favorites is Bridget Jones Diary - if you haven't seen
it, you should. It will make you laugh (and Colin Firth is in it, as well
as Renee Zellweger & Hugh Grant).

I want to see Mystic River, because I read the book and it was great!

Some movies that kept me awake:
1. Goonies.
2. Along Came Polly (mildly funny, and a little dumb).
3. 50 First Dates (although I am not crazy about Adam Sandler, I do like
Drew Barrymore, a LOL kinda flick).
4. The Pianist (excellent movie about the Polish Jews during Hitler).
5. Meet Joe Black (watched part of it, fell asleep, but heard I should
finish it).
6. The Others (Nicole Kidman...surprising ending!)
7. The Wall (all time Pink Floyd favorite!)
8. Fandango (oldie but goodie!)

can't think of any others right now.
