It would depend on your computer, not on your operating platform, altho most
new computers are quite standard in RAM. The best site for determining what
you need is:
 www. crucial.com.
You just enter information about your computer (brand name, model number,
etc.,) and it will find the right type for you. If you are planning to
install it yourself, they also have the best price for RAM.
