OT: my world just got smaller

Well, we hired a new accountant at work today--she actually has an associates
degree so maybe, just maybe, she can get the hang of what we do.

Anyway, my boss had talked to her several months ago, things got busy and he
didn't get back in touch with her. She got another job. She called one day
last week and said that she heard we were again hiring and that she was
interested. She said her job did not work out. My boss was telling me on
Friday about her previous job. Seems she took a job at a doctor's office,
which we knew was where she went to work. She told my boss in the re-interview
that the doctor was a screamer and that nothing anybody ever did was good
enough. She told him where this doctor was located. I told my boss I think I
used to work for this doctor. The description fit him to a T. So Monday
morning she's there, we're all three standing/sitting around talking and my
boss turned to her and said "Carol thinks she knows who you worked for". I
said his name and I thought she was going to vomit!! It was.

Anyway, we have so many things in common--we worked for the same a**hole in the
past and the same wonderful person now; we were members of the same church at
the same time years ago; she lived less than a mile and a half from where I
did; two of her three kids were born in the same hospital I was. Small world,
huh?
