OT: New Puppy

Finally found someone with a litter of Saluki puppies, right here in
Florida. Drove up to Melbourne (a loooong trip -- 4 hours each way, and
only half way up the state) yesterday and brought home my 8-week old puppy!
She's beautiful, sweet, and I'm excited. Salukis are quite rare (I was
told there were only 27 registered last year) and I owned 3 of them many
years ago. Our last several dogs have been rescue dogs, and I said the next
one was going to be another Saluki.

She was raised with cats, and is fine with them, but our cats, who were all
raised with dogs, are having fits, and MY cat is jealous as can be--doesn't
think my lap is to share!

Now comes the hard part--getting her housebroken and trained! But it's
worth it.
