I didn't see that one, but the other few I saw were quite biased IMO.
"Fat City" apparently based its claims on faulty data, because Houston
is not in the top fattest cities unless you consider number of ice
cream places, pizza places, weather, and number of sporting goods
stores as good ways to measure if a city is "fat" or not. (Of course
they don't mention this, I did my own research.) The CDC did a much
more scientific study based on BMIs, and the top cities were
different.
The "Texas: America Supersized" program plays up on stereotypes of
small-town Texas (or small-town almost anywhere, for that matter). But
Texas has 3 of the country's top 10 largest cities, which for the most
part don't fit those stereotypes... especially Houston and Austin. I
know this from personal experience of living in both places.
