A very good chair with proper back support. Haven't really solved the tush
problem--tried various cushions. For me the best investment was a Kinesis
Evolution Keyboard mounted on my chair arms. That COMPLETELY solved my
upper back/shoulder problems.
Carpal tunnel surgery was a good thing for me, too. No more numb fingers
that couldn't feel the keys they were hitting! My carpal tunnel syndrome
was caused by hand quilting, not by too much typing. I machine quilt now!
Though I still enjoy doing some hand-sewing projects while I watch TV--which
I don't have time to do much!

My advice--don't be too frugal when it comes to a comfortable work
environment. Spend what you need to to be comfortable. You will be able to
work better, and probably earn more.
