I'm sorry, but this is a false stereotype, apparently based on a very
limited experience. I have both friends and relatives who are gay, and
they all have friends of both sexes, married and single. For many, the
tendency to associate mostly with other gays is the response to a lack
of acceptance by the straight community. It's not because they "only
prefer one sex," but because they "only prefer" to be with people who
won't treat them like dirt.
