Yes, after Andrew both the National Guard and the Army were called in here,
and there were curfews. We had looters on our property a few hours after
the storm when NOBODY else could get in! I went flying out with a Doberman
on each side--they left, but I went in and loaded my gun, and we still keep
a loaded gun in the house, and still have one Doberman!!!
