It appears that you are still confused over XP Pro vs. Office Pro.
As Cindy said, XP Home/Pro is the version of Windows you will have. Neither
of those come with Office anything. If you want Excel, Word, and Publisher,
you will need to do one of the following:
1) Purchase one of the versions of Office that come with Excel, Word, and
Publisher.
2) Purchase the basic version of Office, which is probably called
'Standard', which will give you Word, Excel, and some other programs, but
not Publisher. Then purchase Publisher separately.
Option #2, MAY be cheaper than option #1, depending upon what version of
Office you have to purchase to get Publisher included.
If you don't need Publisher, simply buy the most basic version of Office,
probably 'Standard', which will contain Word and Excel.
