I'm no expert, but no one answered the one question you had and that is if
Home could be upgraded to Pro. According to my XP for Idiots book it is
possible to do that.
There are a lot of reasons for an MT to want Pro over Home and it has been
covered on this group enough and I am not expert enough to go in to them
all, but if you know you want Pro why are you considering buying a computer
with Home? There are lots of computers out there being sold with Pro. I'd
look a bit more.
