Barb,
I believe someone did answer the question. But in case it wasn't answered,
all the major PC vendors will offer to upgrade the version of Windows that
comes with the PC from XP Home to XP Pro for $75 to $95. Just to prevent
any confusion, this means that the PC comes with XP Pro installed rather
than having XP Home installed and then upgraded to XP Pro with an XP Pro
upgrade disk before the machine is delivered to the customer.
