I love my Vaio! I chose it partly because it's as light as a feather... if you
want more screen real estate of course that's not an issue. But lugging it
around in a backpack all day is easier than carrying my husband's Dell. It
didn't cost me any more than a comparable machine of another brand.
Having said that, hubby, who's the techie in the family, hates my Vaio and says
it's useless, can't be reloaded easily, etc. I've had it since starting school
over a year ago and I certainly have no complaints. He, however, would
recommend a Dell, I'm sure. That's what he uses and what he recommends to
other people, for the support and also for the reliability.
