When you are doing a limited number of dictators and can apply lots of canned
text, it is possible to do this, but even then, I feel it takes a great deal of
concentration which is difficult to sustain over a long period. I try to stay
out of situations that demand high production because I don't want to burn out.

We had a gal locally who went to court reporting school, learned steno and
began to crank out some incredible number of lines per day. Last time I heard,
she had developed multiple medical problems as a result of the punishment her
body took during several years of high production.

It just ain't worth it, folks!
