Me, too. Today, I received an e-mail from somebody that had one word
underlined in their e-mail, which I through strange. It was the word "ring."
Thereafter, I noticed I had a little dog on my tool bar below that was some
sort of "Bargain Buddy," regarding coupons savings. The pop-ups then came
forth, even though my AOL pop-up guard was on.
I had to go into my Install/Uninstall section of My Computer. I found about
three files that didn't belong there and had to actually, physically uninstall
them while online. I couldn't uninstall them offline.
After I uninstalled these, I turned my computer off, came back on, and so far
so good. No pop-ups at the time of this writing.
Weird...
