It lends to production. If I'm charging 14 and paying 8, you know UP FRONT
you are being paid 8 cpl. If I'm a GOOD MTSO, I will have explained what
makes a line a line. So we both know the pay structure.
Many of the services are now having demographics filled into a template-- no
pay for those.
Many of the services are now having you fill in other information (headings,
etc) or changing these-- no pay for those.
When an MT types CHF and expands it to congestive heart failure, she/he
thinks he's being paid for what 24 characters? The reality is some services
are now paying for THREE keystrokes to make up that line and the MT is never
aware of this. They simply know they are working smarter and harder and
making less money.
