Clinton tried to take action in Afghanistan, and, if I remember correctly, the
Republicans pushed it aside and said it was "wagging the tail" and trying to
divert attention from the Monica mess.

Too bad they didn't investigate further the reasons he wanted to stop the
problems in Afghanistan and support him. Maybe we would not have had the
problems with 911.
