Very interesting Sandy. I don't know if we discussed this here or if I
discussed other places, as I have several friends who are doing this. It is
becoming an actual movement, but I cannot think what it is called.

Single women, some widowed, divorced, never married are pooling their money and
buying or building complexes. Every one has their own living space, but there
are allowances for live-in help should that become necessary. Obviously these
are at least middle class women.

It is sort of like younger Golden Girls, except they all have a vested interest
in the project. I believe trusts are being created so that all of the money
says until the last member is gone, so that they pledge to take care of each
other.

It would be a lot easier for some of these groups if the women could just marry
even though they are not romantically involved.
