But that is just as selfish and egotistical as women having children at that
age. Children need and deserve two parents. Rich old geezers having
children
because they've got the bucks to attract a young wife are still being
selfish. Children need a father present in their lives, not a trust fund.
Agreed, there is no guarantee even if you have children at 20 that you are
going to be alive, healthy, and able to care for them for the next 20 years.
But if you're in your 70s, there's a pretty good likelihood you aren't going
to be around to finish the job of raising them.
