Nah, it's not her political leanings. It's because she is who she is.
She's the type of woman who would have been called 'uppity' years ago.
She created her own dynasty, and that made her a target.

I honestly don't think that what she did rose to any level of criminal
activity. She only saved herself $50K by selling when she did instead
of waiting a day. She didn't put anyone's retirement or livelihood in
jeopardy. That's far worse than what Kenny-Boy and his ilk have done,
and Kenny-Boy is still living in a mansion when he's allegedly
'bankrupt'. Then again, he is bankrupt; morally bankrupt.
