I just had a thought if you're having problems with any version of AOL. How
often do you clean out your cache or delete the cookies? I do it every day
just before logging off for the night and have no problems as mentioned in some
of these posts.

Also, you might need to defrag or run a disk scan if you haven't done so
recently. As I said, it was just a thought.
