Margie, three years ago my bone density study showed osteopenia. I'm
anti-drugs so with my physician's approval I went on a 2-year trial of
increased calcium/vitamin D and an intensive exercise program. Two years
later my DEXA scan showed a 12% increase in hip density and a 10% increase
in spine density. I'm till not on Fosamax or Actonel and am hopeful that
this will be the case into the future.
