I'm thinking grandkids would be nice --- not yet --- because you could
spoil them absolutely silly, but it would be a part-time job. I don't
think I could handle another round of 24/7 of raising kids - let alone
the expense!
Some days I truly miss the innocence of young children --- empty nest
syndrome after all this time? It's easier to borrow young children for
a couple of hours :)
When our children were young, we know of a woman who had a daughter
within weeks of her daughter having a daughter --- we all thought it was
funny/shocking as could be. Now both the girls are in their 20's and it
doesn't seem quite so strange -- everyone survived. Brenda
