They said she had a history of being hospitalized for postpartum depression
from what I picked up on the TV. What bothered me so badly was thinking about
that little baby and how she suffered.

The 911 call revealed the mother to be entirely emotionless; in fact, not even
sad. That was disturbing.

Depression is not a nice thing. It can cause you to be an entirely different
person. I think all women at some point have suffered from some degree of
depression and it is something that can consume you. I believe it is the devil
to be honest that just takes a hold of you, but I do know I have suffered from
depression in the past, more situational, and I have been depressed on and off
this year due to rain and illness and sickness in the family and death.

I am empathetic with depression yet I find it very difficult to think about
that little baby and what that sweet baby went through...the whole horror of
it. Right now, what the mother is going through is not my main concern, though
it is a big issue. It is just so sad.
