I am a bit sad that he got the death penalty too. I think he will be in
solitary more often, thus less likely to have to reap what he sowed when it
comes to the other inmates who detest those who hurt women and children,
etc. Plus, I thought I heard on one of the news channels that b/c he got
the death penalty that his appeal will automatically go up to the US
Supreme Court instead of having to go through the same channels it would
had he just gotten life in prison as a sentence. I could have mis-heard
and I know nothing about the appeals process but it seems like he will be
getting better "privileges" because he got the death penalty instead of
just "life".
